Pricing FAQ
OmniStor is priced based on the number of user accounts.
The pricing includes:
- Software license
- Software warranty and maintenance services
The pricing does not include:
- Hardware equipment
- Network or system infrastructure setup
- Customer-side environment preparation
Two purchasing models are available:
One-Time License
- A one-time payment for the software license
- Includes software warranty service for the first year
- Annual maintenance renewal is optional from the second year onward (20% of the original license fee)
Annual Subscription
- Includes software usage rights and warranty services during the subscription period
- Continuous subscription is required to maintain usage rights
Enterprises may select either a capital expenditure (CapEx) or operating expense (OpEx) model based on internal procurement policies.
One-Time License
- Grants perpetual usage rights for the licensed version of the software
- If annual maintenance is not renewed:
- The licensed version may continue to be used
- Version upgrades, feature enhancements, patches, and technical support services will no longer be provided
Subscription Model
- • Includes usage rights and warranty services during the subscription period
- If the subscription is not renewed:
- Usage rights will terminate
- Data download access will be provided only within the period specified in the contract
No. A One-Time License grants usage rights only and does not constitute a transfer of product ownership, source code, or intellectual property rights.All intellectual property rights related to OmniStor remain the exclusive property of ASUS Cloud.
During the warranty period, customers are entitled to:
- Software version updates (within the active maintenance period)
- Software bug fixes (patches)
- High-risk security vulnerability fixes
- 5×8 technical support
- Remote troubleshooting assistance
- Installation package provision
The following services will be evaluated and quoted separately:
- Custom feature development or enhancements
- Customer environment upgrades (operating system, database, or architecture adjustments)
- Troubleshooting related to third-party software or hardware
- Technical implementation services required for major version upgrades
- Reinstatement of maintenance after service lapse
OmniStor can provide tailored services based on enterprise requirements, including:
- Custom feature development
- Project implementation services
- Architecture optimization consulting
- Training services
All services will be evaluated and quoted based on project scope.
